Iman’s is a true family restaurant. Our Head Chef is the restaurant owner’s brother and one of the most experienced chefs in town. Having trained dozens of “fellas” in Indian restaurants and takeaways around Edinburgh, he’s very well known in the city. Even the Head Chef’s mum gets in on the action with a few delicious, and unique to Edinburgh, “Mum’s Specials.”


Our dishes are cooked using the traditional techniques and spices of the Punjab region of Pakistan, and a combined total of more than 70 years of cooking experience goes into every dish we make – as well as the freshest ingredients and the best Punjabi spices. We promise you’ll taste the difference.


Our menu offers plenty of variety, including a large range of vegetarian dishes and some mouth-watering desserts. If you can’t find what you’re after, just ask and we’ll make it for you.

We ony use the very best ingredients, seasonal vegetables and locally sourced meats and fish in our dishes. Every dish is made fresh.
